Castellani

Over 100 Years of Tuscan Winemaking History

Castellani has over a century of winemaking history in Tuscany, exporting its wines since 1903 from the family base near Pisa.

Still family owned and managed by Piergiorgio Castellani, this Tuscan empire now includes five separate estates dotted around the region, from the Fattoria di Travalda in the Arno valley, to the Campomaggio vineyards in the heart of Chianti Classico.

Despite the long history and sense of tradition, the Castellani team employ the latest oenological techniques and have carried out extensive research into Sangiovese clones to further advance the Chianti cause.

Their vision is to create the best wines possible. And each year they manage to improve, with new ventures in other regions too, such as Le Marche and Umbria.
