Alsace Wine

Alsace Wine Region
Alsace wine is predominantly white and due to its German heritage, it is the only region in France that only produces wines by variety and not by region, as is the norm with the Appellation Controlee.

The bottles too show its history, as they are in the usual German slim, slender shape, known in Alsace as 'Flutes d'Alsace' and known typically to come from the Rhine.

The alsace wine region is not only famous for itsGewurztraminer and Gruner Veltliner, but due to its past, it also produces some of the Worlds best Rieslings.
